Testimonials
"This is to commend to you the talents and experience of
Frank Chindamo, a writer and filmmaker of exceptional positive
energy and enthusiasm. His work in bringing young filmmakers together
and in striving to improve the craft is well known." - Former
20th Century Fox VP Christopher Vogler, author of The Writer's
Journey.
"A script I just sold to MTV came into the workshop a mess.
It came out focused, well-structured, and sellable." - Sean
Hood (3-time writer/director, including Fox's new remake of War
of the Worlds)
"My film was developed in the workshop and Fran Drescher
("The Nanny") and John Astin ("The Adams Family")
starred in it because they said they liked the script so much."
- Chandler Evans (writer/director, Kid Quick)

Some emails people have sent in:
Dear Frank,
Wow, that was neat! Thanks so much for making that happen. You
create a
terrific platform for notes, and the people who attend are smart,
smart, smart.
And by the way, the way you summarized the notes at the end of
the evening was
completely brilliant and your own thoughts were hot.
As obvious as it may seem, I never thought of doing a joke pass
on the script. I'm going to try it after I input the other notes,
and then run it by a few of my joke writing friends. And if it
needs more, I'm going to see a psychic and channel Bob Hope, Jack
Benny and George Burns. Thanks, great idea!
A lot of people did turn out, even on very short notice.
FYI, Rebecca counted and there were 55 people and 14 cast members
in the room last night!
Yours Truly,
Roni Keller

Dear Frank:
As I remarked last Friday, I've changed the name of the film,
per your suggestions, to "Breach of Honor." I've also
deepened things emotionally for the main character, Tom (giving
him a son - making his emotional drive during the film to find
family), and added jeopardy for Tom during ACT II (a couple of
physical attacks on him). I've also developed another layer of
intrigue - the testing is not only from the Gulf War but is going
on right here. At the end of Act II, helicopters fly over Los
Angeles spraying bio-chemicals on an unsuspecting public. During
Act II, Tom breaks into a secret room at the VA and takes photos
which later leads to revelation of this during Act 3.
I could never have come up with all these added layers without
the generous comments and critiques from my reading with the Filmmaker's
Alliance.
Best regards,
Christine Davis
